A Programmer's CMS
I remember someone once telling me a rare antique automobile, the Stanley Steamer, only sells for $50,000 despite by incredibly rare. Why? The only people who wanted it was run of the mill mechanics. It required constant tinkering, broke often, and always needed an extra hand.
Plone is the Stanley Steamer of content management systems. Can I handle using it? Yes. But I am a programmer with over a decade of experience.
Most of my time experiences with Plone start with me saying "WTF?", then having to listen to end users asking me that, thinking I actually wrote it. Rad.
Here I will chronicle the experience.
